Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We keep data collection to what the product needs to work:

• Account details. Your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Content you create. The prompts you write, the product images you upload, the text and prices you enter, and the slides we generate for you.
• Billing records. Your credit balance and a ledger of credit changes. Card and payment details are handled entirely by our payment provider, not by us.
• Connected accounts. If you connect TikTok, we store the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest and never sent to your browser.
• Technical data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, plus basic server logs used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To generate slides from your inputs and store them in your gallery.
• To track and charge credits for generation, and to process purchases.
• To publish to TikTok when you ask us to.
• To keep the service secure, debug problems, and prevent abuse.

Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the product. They only receive the data needed for their part of the service:

• Payments.Our checkout and billing run through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle handles your payment details and taxes directly. See Paddle’s own privacy notice for how they process that data.
• AI generation.Your prompts and uploaded images are sent to Google’s Gemini API to produce slides. They are processed to fulfil your request.
• TikTok. When you publish, the relevant slides and captions are sent to TikTok through its official Content Posting API.
• Hosting and database. Your account and content are stored on the infrastructure that hosts the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention

We keep your account data and content for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and content within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Your choices and rights

• You can access and update your account details from your account settings.
• You can delete slides and uploaded images at any time.
• You can disconnect TikTok, which removes the stored tokens.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing and encryption of sensitive tokens at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to limit access to it.

Children

Slide Studio is not intended for children. Do not use the service if you are under the age required to form a binding contract in your location, and in any case not under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
